I have had the pleasure of experiencing excellent service, exceptional salsa, and a great meal. They also offer taco Tuesday deals that are both affordable and highly recommended. Highly recommended!
Since we moved to Bakersfield, we have been enjoying this place for many years. The food and atmosphere are excellent, including the taco tuesday special made with shredded beef tacOs, fresh guacamole, flour tortilla chips, margaritas (I've never had a better choice than this one), good people, and friendly servers.
While I typically go to this restaurant during the day, I rarely do so in the evening. So tonight, we went into a restaurant where the waitress greeted us with smug looks and asked for buckinghamshire treats instead of wasting my money. The waiter was rude because I couldn't afford anything on the menu at all.
Despite everything is homemade, I highly recommend the chili verde huevos rancheros. The hash browns and beans are perfectly cooked and the spicy bloody mary served with ease and on-site service make this place an excellent choice for early morning breakfast. Additionally, the restaurant is spacious enough to accommodate multiple diners and boasts a good selection of dishes.
Despite having an attractive waitress from the Venetian region, the food and dining experience are satisfactory. The dining room is not impressive, but it falls in the middle of something between uninteresting and eccentric dishes.
We enjoyed the food and whiskey, but unfortunately, the staff was not very helpful and we were uncomfortable sitting next to a table. The food was also tasty with fresh chips and salsa. I'd rather not have to sit next door to someone who is already in our seats due to the limited seating arrangement.
Despite ordering the wrong sampler platter from the menu, the owner's response was "a typo." We had to talk with a cook before being charged for chips and later getting angry at the bartender for not disclosing this to us. The food was decent but just the right amount of ingredients.
My regular spot on the menu has been spoiled by people who want to charge me for their chips and salsa. Why would they do this without being courteous?
My cousin's hair was a common issue in the drinks my business owner brought to bear, but I still found it offensive. As he had just returned from her first job at the same restaurant, she felt like everyone should be ashamed of their appearance and not have any personal space or attention given to their pet.
The dinner at this spot is always delicious, even though it's not close to my home. The owners are also known for their excellent home made tortillas, which pair well with the fluffy and tasty rice and beans from the refried pot they serve. I have never been disappointed, and the view of chicken shrimp and crap cooked in butter served with melted cheese and avocado always comes top the list.
