The place was spot on, with a live piano and comfortable booth seating. Our server was attentive and helpful, and the food was fresh and seasoned well. We will definitely come back. Thank you for everything!
Despite Minna's attentive service, the food here is not very good. The expensive artichoke and chicken piccata were disappointing, and their WiFi was unreliable, while the lamb was a shank and not chop. My friend thought it was okay but I didn't feel like complaining. It may be unfair.
I couldn't have asked for a better cocktail, but the martini was fantastic with dependable service and excellent food. The vibe was lively and intimate thanks to the live band and romantic music.
I wouldn't recommend this place. The appetizer was delayed by almost 35 minutes due to poor service, while the roasted beet and goat cheese appetizer arrived with one beat but not enough. Our next dish, eggplant rollatini, came unseen after an hour of waiting for food.
We had a wonderful Christmas Eve Dinner at Luxe with the family. Cindy, the owner, was very welcoming and even gave us hugs as we arrived after being informed about our reservation. They brought Spencer, who is usually serving tables at the bar, to help us relax. The meal was fantastic, and we also enjoyed the piano background music that played in the background. Many thanks!
Despite the nice ambiance and bar, I was disappointed with the food. The servers were very helpful and the atmosphere was busy. Perhaps other dishes are better, hope that's accurate, and will definitely come back for another visit.
We were thrilled to find out that Luxe has finally opened up! The food and service were fantastic, and Sterling, our server, was a true gem. It's hard to believe that this isn't one of the bartenders but we had heavenly dinner tonight, with an amazing piano playing. Thank you for everything! Enjoy!
Due to our desire to explore a new dining establishment, we decided on the Luxe due to their Yelp reviews. We've been to this restaurant before and even tried it out, but it was too wet and cold on New Year's Eve so they closed down the patio. The restaurant is small in size, with the bar taking up most of the restaurant' space; therefore, I would recommend making reservations early because the blue green lighting would make it difficult to see the menu and the food.
The martini bar in Dana point is a must-visit spot for enthusiasts, as they can't get enough of their exceptional martingaels and wines. Additionally, there are some impressive wine choices like Sonoma Cutrer, Caesar salad, and Mediterranean appetizers. I couldn'T have had burgers or hot dogs anywhere else on this trip.
Jeremy was extremely helpful and friendly, while Jimmy the owner showed appreciation by saying that his wife Cindy is always available for him to help out. The overall experience was amazing, with great music, atmosphere, food (and wine), and overall pleasantries.
