While biking around the harbor, I brought my daughter and Ian to enjoy an ice cream on the small patio with a beautiful view of the sun shining through the wind. We took pity by waiting for two minutes while Ian prepared molcow mules before we headed home. Additionally, our visit included some crayon from the girls in front of us as we ate pizza together at the nearby cafe.
The moment we arrived at the restaurant, I heard a distinctive barking of seals and for the first time in my life, it was heavenly. We had seafood to share, including shrimp, Cajun stuffed swordfish, Australian lobster, and steak. All of these dishes are truly mouth-watering and highly recommended. This is the kind of place that I haven't experienced before in California.
They didn't provide proper assistance to me. I ordered a badly-cooked asparagus and tried to use Waitress for several bites, but the food was too raw even after being told it could be replaced. It's deplorable that they refuse to serve properly cooked food at such reattance.
Following a prolonged absence, lunch was enjoyed with my family in sunny weather and it was accompanied by pleasant colors and an informal dining experience. The view was beautiful as well.
The server was unfriendly and the food was not satisfactory. I believed the Kona Inn on the Big Island was owned by someone, but our meal was also disappointing. We were fortunate to have had a better experience there.
It was delicious. We finally ordered Wind & Sea after making a last-minute reservation on an open table. The sides were not our cup of tea and we had the usual ones, but the fish and asparagus were perfectly cooked with lemon herb seasoning. And the lava flow drink was also very strong! Warning: This may be one of the worst food recommendations for heavier weights like vegan meat or dairy products.
Despite the service being outdated, I am still satisfied with my dining experience at The Harbor Grill. Although we haven't been back since leaving, we are fond of everything except the food and drinks. The manager explained that it was difficult to find parking space, so we decided to use the loading area instead. We will definitely come back for our meals.
The waitstaff at the waterfront restaurant is welcoming and cordial, and I couldn't resist trying their Hawaiian chicken dish before ordering salmon. Despite my reservations, they made it possible for me to have the fish I had ordered with rice wine and chips.
Elena, my waitress, was fantastic! The view from the top of the harbor is breathtaking. The food and staff are friendly and welcoming. It's a steal in price considering its location. Don't be afraid to arrive early as this place can get busy quickly!
Got lunch at Wind&Sea after catching some sun and enjoying the beautiful sunset over Dana Point. The restaurant was not very busy on a Saturday afternoon, so we didn't have to book in advance. We were offered supper in ice cream from onsite tables and had amazing views of the harbor and sea life. I'm curious if they ever open up these windows because it might be cooler during this day, especially with the breeze blowing in. Our dinner meal was delicious!
