Although it's a shopping center and has limited parking options during peak hours, the customer service and food are excellent. However, I'm not convinced that this is geared towards older people or locals who may prefer something different with their music (it was too loud at 6pm for me). This review will provide more insight into the atmosphere of the place while staying in SFSD.
The outdoors and the water are both appealing, while also enjoying the interior with nice decorations. The happy hour menu (3-6 pm) offers entrees that are good for a low price, reasonable prices, two excellent beef dishes, and understated service.
We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service provided. The view was stunning, and there were beautiful outside tables to sit in.
Don't waste your money on greasy finger sandwiches! Your sushi bill will only cost you $30 until 8p per person, but ask for complimentary starters (edamame, salad, and miso soup) to hold onto. You'll also appreciate the great value of this sushi at its true high end.
The only good things were a quick lunch of small chicken fry rice, but the other dishes were not as tasty (the dumplings were warm and salt and pepper wings were too fattening for my liking), while the pear mixed drink was served with ice cream.
Take advantage of the daily special during happy hour, where sushi is available for $30 from Monday to Thursday and $40 per person. The chefs are friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, offering different rounds with up to 4 items each. You must finish all courses before moving on to the next round or pay a fee of $6 for unfinished items.
The marina location was the main attraction, making it a great spot to meet up with friends and explore the area. However, the food served poorly, while the "fusion" concept did not live up to expectations. Instead, there were too few Asian entrees presented in this particular dish. I'm disappointed by this one.
I've been told that the staff was fantastic, the food was decent, and the neighborhood bar vibe was pleasant. Would it be feasible to purchase a rice cooker?
Last night, we took a duffy ride to Jade and had drinks and appetizers on the patio. The food was delish, including calamari with an artisanal dressing; our waiter was efficient and pleasant, making us feel very at ease when we got outside. We'll definitely be back!
I've had the best experience so far with the attentive service and excellent food. The staff at this restaurant is welcoming and efficient, and they even served me a chimay beer on tap! Highly recommended!
