Definitely one to try when visiting Long Beach! Thank you for the helpful service and great recommendations! I couldn't have asked for more information without her knowledge. The food at this place is amazing!
The food was fantastic, with the ribs and roasted corn being the best I've ever had. Our server, Johnathan, was knowledgeable about the menu and very passionate about it, and our manager was also friendly. We would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to dine well. Thanks, sweetheart.
My love for food is unwavering, but today the server who I had never encountered before missed my order and took it elsewhere. I wanted a drink, so when I got tired of waiting, I decided to ask her what had happened instead. The manager/supervisor was fantastic throughout, offering an apology even after hearing both my complaints and seeing how they were treated.
Eddie's first visit was a hit, as the menu options included chicken verde, breakfast burrito, machaca egg, and elote, taco tacco, house carnitas, all of which were perfectly executed. The service was impeccable, along with the patio seating that provided optimum sun protection.
My dining experience at this restaurant was a pleasant one. The server, Eileen, was very welcoming and helpful. I appreciated the excellent food served and the attentive service provided by the staff. We will definitely come back for another meal. Thank you!
We had a great time at Xoxo, formerly known as Newer Mexican Restaurant in Downtown. The food and service were prompt, but the waitress was attentive to our requests for drinks and food. They didn't disappoint! Both the house margarita and mexcalero were delicious, and my friend won an award for "Mexican Roadside" pizza.
I enjoyed lunch with friends at this delightful spot, but it may be a little overpriced. Steph judgement considers the food and service to be above average. It was definitely worth trying, especially since she used their former brewery in Rock Bottom. We had some delicious mixed-vegetarian meals there.
During taco night, I had the pleasure of trying out different dishes with my friends and tasting their food. Although the food truck is more expensive than the wood-fired chicken tacas (which were excellent but had less chicken on them), the chicken taquitos were similar to those found in the grocery store, but served with chips and salsa.
While I typically don't review chains, this Solita location caught my attention with its unique blend of good and bad experiences. The cocktails on the menu include a variety of mojitos featuring both Anderson Paak (the original is sweet and watermelon), taco boxes locotrottes (lemon/coconut, beef or nacho) and chicken tender (ham and cheddar).
Definitely visit this place when you're in the Long Beach area- they have great cocktails and the food is delish and really good -- especially the staff, especially Eric who is super nice and very friendly.
