My friend and I went out for lunch yesterday for a girls day and they brought us chips and salsa, which were both complimentary. The menu included beans, rice, two beef tortillas with good taste, and the free chips made me feel full of joy. I'll definitely be back here.
The location, ambiance and vibe are fantastic. There's an excellent cocktail selection and it'll be a great place to watch sports. Additionally, the bar is always buzzing with activity.
Despite having a great atmosphere and generous serving size, the yardhouse was not an excellent choice for happy hour. My friends wanted to order tequila jacks instead, but their happy hours were deceptively small. The food served was decent, although my server was helpful and informative. Although the outdoor seating was full, it was comfortable and delicious, and the margaritas were generous.
I had a taco craving on Taco Tuesday that was worth the price tag of $1.50. I ordered the baja fish and asada-themed tactos, buffalo wings, and house margarita rocks for about $15. The drinks were included in the drink specials for the day, but they were big and just right. And the salsa with chips and salsa made me happy because it added some spice to my dish.
During our second visit to tequila jack's, we had an early lunch and waited for the opening of the coastal county jam gates. My wife enjoyed their chicken nachos which were too spicy for my liking, while I loved my chicken quesadilla. We always enjoy being in town and taking in the views, especially the Queen Mary out back.
Upon arriving in town, I found myself hungry and ended up ordering from their lunch menu. I chose the chorizo con huevos and was pleased with the spicyness of the salsa (which had a burnt smell to it). However though there were still some rice pieces that needed improvement, my meal was not worth returning. The overall experience was satisfactory but disappointing.
The country concert was a great opportunity to get some food. My friend and I both had the cajon shrimp, but they were too hard and chewy for our taste buds. The customer service was also very bad, with no options available such as sweet potato fries or zucchini fries. Would anyone recommend trying this?
I was served a bland, unseasoned food at no more than 1:50. My choice between the combo plate of fried tacos and chili peppers with chiles on it tasted worse than the beef jerky or hotdog. The service also proved to be poor; we had to wait in line for 40 minutes before being brought out cold after finishing our meal! What resentments do they have when visiting family?
