We love requesting suburb service from Jesse, who always comes out to us and takes care of us with a delicious menu that includes everything from salads to sandwiches to salmon. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of food served here.
I was treated to a warm welcome by my bartender, kelly, who provided me with the perfect cucumber margarita for an afternoon drink. I also enjoyed sundries and grilled salmon on quinoa, which were both excellent choices. It will be no picnic here anytime soon. The food is freshly cooked and served in large portions.
After passing through Thibodaux after finding them parking so many people there, I decided to give them a try. The beer menu was amazing (updated online), and we were all very pleased with the selection of beers served! The server was very knowledgeable about the beer options available and even warned me about potential noise levels due to the size of the bar and TV sets. I did request to be placed in the back area for privacy.
The eldest was brought here for an engagement party attended by two dear friends, and while the initial impression is that of a sports bar in the neighborhood, it has nested family atmosphere. Although the hostesses were busy, they are already selling out quickly to accommodate walk-ins. I did enjoy some appetizers from the main course after my meal, but didn't order much more.
We've been avoiding this spot for a while because my husband and I live near downtown, where we used to stay. However, when we arrived there was surprisingly slow: the waitress there spoke English, but it took us about 45 minutes, which is more than double the service we could get in if we tried outside our temporary venue.
We arrived at the restaurant just before 9pm on Friday night to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and were treated to a wonderful meal. The server was very helpful and friendly, and we ordered the filet mignon instead of the traditional steakhouse style served at their dessert bar (which they named "the scoop") which is located next door to our dining area. I couldn't be happier with this place!
The food served up was excellent, with the surf and turf toppings being particularly appetizing. The bar is spacious and well-lit, and the restaurant has a unique South African vibe. However, the paper menus are not available due to the lack of QR code technology.
This is a well-known local hangout, with its unique blend of nachos, patio decor, and mix of lights. The staff is always helpful and accommodating, making it reminiscent of dive bars but also worth visiting for the drinks they serve. Although it may be more expensive than this one, I highly recommend this place.
The moment westepped into the building, it felt like we were walking into a lodge in Big Bear. There were enough places to sit in the bar area, with options such as booths and open areas. We chose between fried zucchini, ribeye steak with mashed potatoes and veggies, and strawberry milkshake and milk tart. Although I enjoyed the crispy zucchini batter, the ranch was somewhat watery, while the smoked kimono steak was perfectly cooked and melted.
Previously known as the el dorado steakhouse, the restaurant underwent a transformation in 2015 with new owners to become the Eldo gastropub. While maintaining the steak house interior vibe, it also serves as supper and sports bar. The menu features both american and south african dishes, along with generous serving sizes and side salad options. I was disappointed by the shepherd's pie, which came out on the plate at first.
