We've had the pleasure of eating at The Six for years, but our recent visit has been marred by some minor issues. Our fried chicken sandwich was badly ruined by using old oil, while our tomato flatbread was bland and our pizza served with too much crust and not enough toppings. Despite this (thank goodness for the new appetizers), we're rooting for understaffing during the 4th of July holiday as we believe service is understaffed on the premises.
During brunch with my two friends last night, we were treated to outstanding service. We reserved tables for dinner and ordered the most amazing dishes. The bottomless mimosas were served within an hour of ordering, but the chicken and waffles I ordered were disappointing as they appeared to be cut up instead of the real thing.
I've frequented this charming neighborhood spot on a few occasions and found the servers to be friendly, especially for brunch. The breakfast pizza is delicious, but the sweet potato toppings are lacking in flavor. This place is not recommended for large groups, and I also don't recommend ordering elsewhere.
