Our first time visiting for happy hour with my new boyfriend, the neighborhood was spot on. The burgers and fries were delish (with no heavy processed goods), the baked chickpeas made with buttercream and jelly was delicious, and the game was played without any hassle! We highly recommend this place as a family spot but also appreciate the friendly atmosphere and value for money. Highly recommended!
Treat yourself to taco Tuesday! The TT menu is reasonably priced and filled, with a decent selection of beers on tap. The waitstaff and bartenders are friendly, which is nice, and the food is plentiful. Although it may lack fancy touches, this place is still dependable for its purpose and provides upscale dining options.
Despite having visited three times before, I'm not entirely convinced that the World Cup was to blame. The restaurant is great for entertaining with children and pets, reminding me of chic restaurants in Europe and the Pacific Northwest. Our Taco Tuesday menu featured fresh tacos (grilled or bistro-style), butty, fruit platters, and vegetarian options.
After visiting Thunderbird for the first time, I was impressed by the excellent drink options and friendly bar staff. Wednesday nights are a must-visit with Chris taking part in trivia night and winning chips to balance out food/drinks. The restrooms are kept clean and always tidy, making it incredibly enjoyable. Additionally, there are no smoking signs or doors on the restaurant premises!
The taco spot was a hit yesterday thanks to the fantastic prices and friendly service. The location was also convenient, and it took no longer than 5 minutes to secure ten tables. It definitely exceeded my expectations.
I went to Thunderbird Bar on my first night in the Los Angeles area and had a great time. The food and drink selection was excellent, and the prices were reasonable for our group. Our nachos were perfect; they had enough beers and cocktails to fill up two entire families by sunset. We also enjoyed trivia nights with friends that evening, which seemed like ages ago. It's not often when people socialize but it'll be nice to see some faces down from the rooftops.
Service is not very good. We had a party of 10 and we were seated in the back booth. After waiting for about 5 minutes, no one answered our questions at the bar. The server showed up and I appreciate our time there. Although the drinks were decent, the chickpea was amazing.
We had a party with coworkers over for happy hour on Friday and were able to sit comfortably, watch the game before having our meal at the counter. I chose burgers and fries with margarita ($8) while we ordered drinks around the table (many of us ended up drinking beer). The nachos were so big, it seemed like they could accommodate 3-4 people in our group! It was packed with delicious fillings that came out of my favorite restaurant's kitchen; it was incredibly generous serving portions.
