This place has a great vibe, with indoor and outdoor seating options available. The large bar and ample seating for drinks is complemented by the delicious carne asinos and enchiladas served during happy hour! The staff is always on-staff, but the food was also very tasty. I would definitely come back here again!
The location was perfect for our spooky birthday/halloween celebration, with ample parking available. Our server, Lalo, was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the food and drinks to suggest us; we also appreciated his thoughtfulness in serving us more delicious dishes. We'll definitely come back! Thank you!
During happy hour at this place, the food and drinks are excellent value for money with only $8 per plate and the service is outstanding. I'll definitely be returning to order items from their regular menu. Thank you!
Enjoy the outdoor seating available during happy hour, which is perfect for summer cocktails and a delicious slice of gourmet taco with guanac. The pineapple margarita stands out as the best among them, and they deserve my congratulations on their success! Highly recommended!
We visited for happy hour and had a quick taco at noon. The food we chose was carne, chicharone, and barbacoa; everything was delicious! Our queso fundido was the highlight of our meal. We'll definitely be back soon.
I went here for a friend's birthday and it was surprisingly good. The food and drinks were nice, but the location was rather sparse on chilly nights. There is an abundance of parking spots nearby. Our server also provided us with excellent recommendations for food AND drinks. We had some great steak sandwiches, chips, and scallops! Highly recommended! Please review our review!
The food and service at this restaurant have always been outstanding since I moved here as a regular, with every dish I've eaten being the same. It's hard to imagine not having had ice cold beer in my life before these memorable happy hour meals.
The place was completely unexpected, with no one present to entertain us. We went for the margaritas and taco at 5:00pm during happy hour. The margitat cost $9 while the tacco ($$15) was amazing, including some good ones (tamarind and cucumber), the asada ($1 in mex) and the chicharon ($2). It wasn't a bad experience overall, but we decided to order from their website after hearing mixed reviews. Our lunch included an avocado ($9) and brunch ($10).
Kalaveras was my first time to dine at the restaurant during an office lunch, and I'm not sure if I want to repeat my experience. We were treated to a nice room with minimal tables, but our waitress brought us drinks that were tasty! We shared appetizers, including halibut, while the rest of the group ordered tacos.
Kalaveros was my first time to eat at their happy hour location, and I couldn't resist trying their taco/empanada combo with fries (which they had already ordered) during the busy period. The cheese nacho looked delicious, too. We also enjoyed complimentary chips and salsa for the summer as well; some of the nachi nach pastas were also tasty.
