The interior is tastefully presented and the salsa bar is spacious with a variety of delicious salsas. The birria tacos were tasty and tender, but the tortillas had too much meat, which may have resulted in an uneven texture.
Located in the former beach area of east sacramento, this cerveceria has an authentic beachy vibe with an outdoor patio and tables and umbrellas. The kitchen is small, but I still enjoy their taco rolls and hot dogs at my table every time we visit. It’s not hard to find a meal here, especially after eating at one of their many pizza places. We've been there several times, and they always make good meals.
Upon arriving at the location on Monday, I was treated to an excellent meal consisting of a carnitas bowl with corn tortillas and chips and salsa. The hot salsa was enjoyable, although not my favorite. It was also nice to see staff who were friendly (including blond hair girl and tall guy with glasses).I would certainly come back for another meal!
My top pick for a taco stand in east sacramento is nothing short of amazing, with its beachy vibe and the soundtrack of southern/SD culture. The attentive service and excellent recommendations are what I was looking for when I decided to sample homemade guacamole + chips, shrimp tactos, and crispy meatball concoctions.
Our meal was filled with crispy tacos, potato and shrimp, and beef, all of which were available for us to order from the register before sitting down due to the cold weather. My husband chose the shrimp since I prefer the other two options while my husband went for the carnitas and carne asada tactos plate, which we ordered three ways but couldn't resist. We also ate steak and chips at the same time because they are more affordable.
The outdoor patio at this restaurant is my go-to spot, with its spacious and inviting decor and the addition of a plentiful selection of salsa options. However, our taco order was disappointing as it appeared to be quite expensive. I went for the mushroom tacco, which was fine but had too much grease that left me feeling unsatisfied. Additionally, they served rice crackers instead of mushrooms due to its battered texture.
It was a lovely day outside with my family and I'm going to be generous. The patio area is big and has swarmed with misters, making it ideal for outdoor activities. My husband and myself were both pleased with our salsa bar and the chicken salad served. However not very good considering the space available on the patio (it wasn't overly hot).
This place is near several places to chill and enjoy some chilled-out meals and drinks. Call me and I'll be glad to have you over there!
