We were served with disappointing entrees that took 4-5 minutes after being served along with the Brussel sprouts appetizers, although they were excellent. My friend recommended the Braised Lamb Pappardelle, which was not braised but had an overpowering sauce and tasted terrible. The Beef bone in Short Ribs seemed to be more flavorful than the meat-free versions, while the carrot and broccolini branches were mixed with polenta chips. Our plate was filled with very large green and blue leaves.
The Brussels sprouts at this restaurant were my favorite after having a lunch with other diners for praising their company lunch. I also enjoyed the Marissa Sauvignon Blanc glass and appreciated the Margherita Pizza, which was delicious but had oozing crust; overall good atmosphere/ambiance and will definitely come back!
For my birthday, I ordered the lemon chicken pasta ($35) from Rancho Capistrano Winery, which had a fantastic flavor profile and included fresh tomatoes, mushrooms, and artichoke hearts. We also shared jars of their red wine, making it one of the best bottle I've ever had. Dessert: The Whiskey Bundt Cake, served hot, with tons of chips, by Wolfgang Puck, amazing!
The restaurant's interior was surprisingly roomy, with rustic decor and ample booths and tables for a girls night or if someone wanted to celebrate their birthday. They also have regular happy hours on Wednesdays through Thursdays in the plaza and street. My friends couldn't resist it, and they enjoyed their meal. I didn'T order any alcohol. However, they loved it.
Our Valentine's Day celebration at Rancho Capistrana Winery was a memorable one. The attentive and romantic staff and intimate setting provided us with an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend the affordable set menu featuring Fig Bruschetta, which perfectly pairs with GorgonzolA cheese, candied figs, and strawberries drizzled with balsamic glaze. Meanwhile, we had the Chicken Rollatini and 16 oz Boneless Steak from the same restaurant for our main course.
Joining this wine club is possible, but if you choose to cancel, there's no way around the employee who was unavailable. We've already tried twice to do it in person and were unsuccessful. The California Department of Consumer Affairs will need to resolve this issue. What should I do? Please.
I loved the steak salad and wine served, but the service was not too bad. It's more of a family dinner or girls night instead of date night, and it'll be better for families with kids. Not that we had expectations in our visit.
The server at the table was unhelpful as she seemed like a nice person but had no experience. We were served water and food for 15 minutes, and we were left with only $10 tip after being denied entry to the restaurant due to poor service. This incident is not something we want to repeat any more. Check your meal out here.
We were thrilled to discover that a restaurant has been opened in Ladera Ranch, showcasing the winery's perfect location for social events and comfortable seating. The outdoor heaters offer shaded areas and staff are always on-call during high-intensity weather.
We joined the wine club and had a wonderful time drinking scotch at their peacefully designed restaurant. On weekends, there is always something going on in the air with local musicians playing. Our meals included seabass, burgers and fries, and two red wines that we tasted very well, Sienna and El Capitan. The service was also excellent. What an amazing experience!
