The Sol Agave in San Clemente is an outdoor restaurant that serves delicious Mexican food and drinks. It has ample space for both indoors and outdoors, making it perfect for small groups of eight. Our waiter welcomed us with great enthusiasm and professionalism. We ordered appetizers as well as drinks, which were served promptly when we checked out. Finally, our food arrived on time, and I ordered tacos! Yum!
The Margaritas fight was the most enjoyable, and the food was delectable. Daniel People, the bartender, provided an outstanding service.
We had brunch at Sol Agave on a sunny Sunday. The server brought us drinks and we were served water by the server, with I getting whipped cream and hubby getting raspberry margarita. Although the tequila was ice-creamy, we didn't order another round; they both turned out fine. Can you believe me? No one is giving away drinks? Let me explain why
I've had the opportunity to try out various Mexican food options, but nothing compares to the excellence of this restaurant. The butter cake is simply amazing. Despite being in the heart of San Clemente, the location features a large patio and parking available at the back (although it may be chilly outside).
It's a perfect spot to enjoy some fresh and creative Mexican cuisine that you won't regret after trying it. The pork belly bites appetizer were heavenly, and our waiter Eloy was the best. We highly recommend this place because of its relaxed atmosphere and attentive service. Our server recommended ordering online for lunch; we would definitely go there again.
The adventure began when I arrived at the center stage, and a lovely hostess approached me. She requested to view the menu and informed me that I was allergic to shrimp, as she assured me there would be accommodations provided by the chef or my server. I ended up sitting on the patio and ordered an orange mimosa for $11 and Chilaquiles rojos for $26.
The restaurant is more about appearance rather than food, but I think it's better because of the service they provide. Additionally: Our waiter' assistant was very attentive to our orders, and when we ordered flights (which were not displayed here), it looked much better than what we saw online. For good taste though, we also ordered sides like hot sauce or jalapenos.
The courtyard and delicious food at Sol Agave in San Clemente were the reasons why I chose to order there. Despite being unable to accommodate two people, they have a great menu for larger groups. We arrived early enough to reserve supper right next to the beautiful tiled fountain. Remember, their daily HH from 2-6pm is an amazing time! So do try their fantastic Mexican dishes and ask for the special menu.
This is the best restaurant for a date, girls night out, group/family dinner or lunch. The food and staff were friendly and accommodating. I had savored the delicious red sauce with homemade short ribs that was perfectly executed! The meat was tender too! And the pineapple margarita was divine!
Our meal at SOL AGAVE PARA DOS was outstanding, with a twist of everything we wanted. It had garlic shrimp, pure black Angus portobello mushrooms, chicken, carnitas and organic baby vegetabese fondue, as well as rice, refried beans, and salsa trio. The service is top-notch, too.
