Shwack Cantina has been a favorite spot in our San Clemente neighborhood for years, thanks to the outstanding food, staff members being friendly and helpful (even my husband who enjoys eating there), and the reasonable prices and meals. We were treated to burgers and spinach salads at their recent dinner; we also enjoyed Diana's steak on Chicken Taco Tuesday during lunch.
Our visit to the bar was a pleasant one, and we were treated to delicious buffalo blasters, meatballs in tangy red sauce drizzled with blue cheese, as well as Albondigas soup made with genuine spices and served in large bowls. We also enjoyed Mama's Raspberry lemonade, pictured, which was an absolute delight. Highly recommended!
As a restaurant whose menu I've been lucky enough to frequent before, I found myself disappointed this time. The poblano Pescado (my all-time favorite) was also missing from the list, which is one of my favorite options on the new menu. However, when I complained about my experience, our server informed me that they could still bring me their dish since it was not good enough for home.
The location was spotless, with solid food served up alongside generous portions and a pleasant atmosphere. Our waiter Tasia provided outstanding service throughout our visit, always smiling and giving off swag. We would highly recommend this place to anyone in need of some company or tips for future visits! Thank you so much!
It was previously a 5-star establishment, but they recently made changes to the menu. I traveled 40 miles to pick up their assada dish, which they no longer offer. We've been visiting for years and will be returning soon; unfortunately, there are no more coconut cookies available.
This is a fantastic place to chill out and unwind, with ambiance that's all-encompassing. The food was delectable, not overly tasty, but still satisfying. And the bartender was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about her dishes.
Shwack Cantina offers a great selection of dishes, and the waitstaff are friendly and accommodating. I had an enjoyable trip to San Clemente, where they served me some burgers during my two-week stay; however, the Big Al was by far our favorite – in terms of taste, size, texture, even cleanliness.
We had a great time, and the atmosphere was delightful. I enjoyed tacos and my boyfriend's favorite was the brisket sandwich, which we shared like family meals.
Our pick for tacos is the quick, casual, and gringo-mexican beach food served outdoors with a great atmosphere and car views! The food on site is simply amazing.
Our stay was excellent, with good food and service, and the outdoor patio was perfect for taking my dog.
