This place in the heart of Downtown SD offers some amazing Salsas and is an excellent experience. Being from San Diego, I'm impressed by Mexican food - although the hostess may have been overly enthusiastic but seemed offended by our wait after waiting for 25 minutes with only one sign that said "staying here."

The surf and turf tacos ($295 per person) were a welcome addition to our SD experience, making it incredibly satisfying. We also appreciated the queso dip that was refreshing upon entering, and the server's kindness towards us during service, which gave us upscale vibes with hints of dirtiness throughout. I would definitely recommend this place.
