Here, the food is still fresh and delicious. I've always enjoyed their ceviche, but my only criticism is that they need to crack down on people who are waiting in line at tables. It's unfair to those who have ordered and are looking for a place to sit, especially when your party is already over 10 with drinks available outside.
Mitch's seafood is a favorite spot among locals, and we always get our oyster fix with entrées that are both tasty and flavorful. The service is friendly and attentive to our orders, along with the view of the ocean and the convenient location of Parkway Gardens for staying in SD.
If you're feeling brave, there are two options: ordering from the outside and having Seagulls competing for your food, or sitting inside. You can also order ahead and choose to sit at different tables within the establishment. I was excited to sample Shrimp, which came with a wild taste but ended up being too rough and smelly (which I thought was probably Patagonia-style).
