I came across Franco's cozy outside parklet while walking from West Portal MUNI station yesterday. The restaurant and parklets are suitable for small groups with quiet conversation but not too noisy. Street parking is free, and the service is prompt. My friend enjoyed their chino ceviche and its aji de gallina, while my friend ordered the chicken salad. They also had wings on two sides.
The restaurant had a nice outdoor covered dining area, but parking in the same vicinity is quite busy. However, there are nearby residential areas for optimal dining enjoyment. The service was prompt and friendly. Food was excellent.
The food and service at this place were spotless until yesterday, even considering the fact that it didn't matter what you ordered. I would have given a five star review last year. The lack of variety in dishes has made them less appealing to customers, including Anticuchos, which was missing some great Peruvian dishes. Additionally, the Ceviche Mixto had too much lemon and no real fish flavor, and served little onion or corn.
The food and service at the Saltos restaurant were fantastic, with a total score of 10. Would definitely recommend them. Bravo!
