The restaurant is an old-fashioned Mexican restaurant with a nice atmosphere and decor. We were served food by the hostess, who was very helpful and attentive. Our server was only in her early stages of opening, but we got chicken instead of shrimp (my burrito), which I had to order at our table. My husband also enjoyed the stuffed tamale, which seemed to be his favorite among the appetizers.
I've had to give take out multiple times, but the food was not fresh and served poorly. The service was decent, although overall it was mediocre. We also enjoyed sitting on the patio outside. Would definitely have gone back. However...
Upon visiting my friend's place on Tuesday, we were treated to Taco Tuesday tacos and the waitress was extremely friendly. We ordered the usual two carnitas ($1 each) and shredded beef ($2 for chicken breast), which I highly recommend. The cook brought out their dish, and our meal was delicious!
Great atmosphere, food and music. Service is good and margaritas are always on time. Would definitely recommend this place!! How do you feel about visiting?
Definitely worth visiting in flavor town, Ricardo's is there, and Carnitas Tacos are delicious and delectable, while Margaritas can be tailored to your taste buds. I also love the taco Tuesday atmosphere, free shots on tap,and even live music. See you next week!
We were treated to a delicious meal at Ricardo's place, which included chips, salsa, and menu items. Our drinks arrived promptly, followed by my lunch of pork tamal in green sauce with beans and rice plus two sunny-side-up eggs on top. The food was fantastic! I also ordered ice cream for breakfast.
Our 2 year old daughter absolutely loves the Mexican food and drinks! The place is very welcoming and there's live music every night. It'll be challenging to choose what we want for our meal. Ask for the spicy salsa or the mild ones if you prefer. They serve both with their complimentary chips. We will definitely be back in Mexico soon.
Great little place in San Juan, great service, good food (chips were fresh and crisp), salsa was good, chicken enchilada suiza 2, super crispy chicken tacos, French fries with generous portions- definitely won't go away. Highly recommended! Thanks!
I've just moved into a home with the best neighborhood friends and I can definitely recommend them. Margarita on Wednesdays...I know you like me back.
We often visit Ricardo's Place restaurant, which is located near a historic Mission and is known for its excellent food. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the food is delicatly delicious, and the drinks are freshly made to order without any hassle. I would also suggest ordering fried chicken or chips.
