They were attentive and accommodating, making our luncheon at the outdoor patio enjoyable. The food was delectable, and the service was satisfactory for a brief period on saturday afternoons.
Despite being an avid restaurant owner and diner, I couldn't fault the Sundried Tomato restaurant in San Juan Capistrano for its poor quality food, service, and overall cleanliness. This review is going to be harsh because the management and owners are not interested or committed to their own business model. The reviews highlight this issue.
Good quality food and attentive servers. I arrived for a birthday celebration with my friend, but the noise from outside seating is too much for comfort. If you prefer relocating to the inside, it's best to stay in your room.
As a native of Dana Point / San Juan, I have never had any issues with my new meal here. The food is delish! My first visit was there and everything was provided including ice cream and hot chocolate. A lovely hostess welcomed me inside the hotel to serve cocktails while I waited for my flight home.
I couldn't have asked for a more perfect meal, but the service and food were fantastic, with an overall pleasant atmosphere. The food was delicious, and the staff was attentive to our needs. Although I was initially concerned about potential health risks during our dinner outing, I would highly recommend this place because it is such upscale dining.
Our meal was absolutely delicious. We had the Blackened Shrimp & Grits with bacon bits in the grits. It came out perfectly, but my wife is not fond of egg yolks running all over our food (even pancakes). We also tasted their Sundried Tomato Soup, which both I and my partner liked very much; although she wasn't too hard on that one bit.
I had a great day and drove to San Juan Capistrano. The city has changed so much in the past few years, with its shops around the church being more modern and clean than ever. The food is delicious, servers are friendly, and the downtown area is convenient for parking.
Although not overly impressive, it's still not bad considering its mid-level setting. The menu is extensive and offers a broad range of dishes from breakfast to lunch including chicken tenders, entrees like spinach artichoke dip and lobster bisque. While the bread was chewy and the oil filled dip wasn't very good, I would highly recommend trying their spinach dip. Meanwhile, they also served seafood wings in fried green or red pepper pies.
Their event coordinator gave me some taste of the menu before the festivities and was able to serve me flawlessly. Not only did they serve us beautifully, but their service was also outstanding:9 appetizers (chooses 4):* Blackened chicken spring rolls-honey cilantro pesto sauce** Ahi-wonton chip-wasabi aioli-daily *crostini-1980-smoked salmon tuna shoot with onion relish*********** roasted garlic cloves-brine bis cubed*
The brunch at this lovely restaurant is a perfect combination of sophistication, cleanliness, and service. It also has an all-day menu option that includes cinnamon rolls as well as delicious blackened chicken spring rolls. We also had the filet Benedict and crab with bacon hash Benedict, two dishes we enjoyed together.
