During our early morning trip to San Mateo from Pacifica to catch some more airtime, we hit the 101 and had quite an impressive selection of beers. Although the IPAs and sours were decent (the salted watermelon sour was my favorite), the food on this plate was disappointingly slow: not one single item sold out except for a nice tofu banh mi, which didn't taste very good (I would have preferred fewer options, but it would fall short).
I have a special fondness for this brewery and it's situated in the Bay Area. The beer is served by two different fire places, but it can also be quite cozy at night due to the proximity of the city lights and the smell of freshly made ales. This brewery is not only located above the fog barrier, sondern also offers ten great craft beers that are sure to please every taste buds.
It was not too hot, but the pizza and brussel sprouts were tasty. The food was slow due to the setup, although it's possible that some servers would have had to look for customers more frequently. We also found our meal to be satisfactory even though I didn't drink beer or wine at this location.
