This bar/restaurant is located across the beach and has a laid-back vibe, with 80's music and ambiance. Our server, kannica, was fantastic and served excellent food and drinks during our visit, as well as large portions for military discounts. We also enjoyed their barbecue lunch specials on Sunday and enjoyed complimentary cocktails after work.
We visited the restaurant on the corner of the main street / pier for dinner with my friend. The server provided water and gave us half of an alcohol selection, but our meal was delectable considering the high demand for hamburgers (I went for the chicken jalepeno) and regular ones. I'm pleased with the food and said it was worth the price tag.
I went to a local burger joint near the beach with my son and his roommate, and it was surprisingly quiet on Wednesday. The food was decent and the portions were small in comparison to other southern California restaurants. Both individuals left feeling full and satisfied. They promised to return for more food.
At 11:30am on a Monday, I met up with an old colleague for lunch. The situation was peaceful and we had burgers instead of sandwiches. I highly recommend trying the bacon cheeseburger. It went well.
I'm swooning over this cool restaurant by the ocean. It has amazing weekly specials, prime rib on fridays and breakfast for breakfast in the mornings. The waitress is unconcerned about the bar area, but it was worth the effort. And the weight paid off with good service. Great portions.
The little spot across the street was a source of great food and the fried pickles we ordered were hand-battered, making it heavenly. I loved my mojito after it took me almost 20 minutes to come out, especially since it was handmade. The service was prompt, but unfortunately, some items on our receipt were not delivered to the server as we did not order them correctly. We would definitely return there again.
I've been to this local breakfast joint because of its great breakfast and the welcoming staff that makes it feel like we're there for breakfast. The view from the booth on the pier is beyond words.
We had lunch here on our visit to Seal Beach, which was busy and we waited for a half an hour before being called back. The food served by the staff was excellent, and the service provided was also outstanding. Although it's not overly busy, this place is definitely worth trying if you're looking for fine drinks or upscale dining options.
Despite some overcooked portions of the jack daniel's strawberry french toast, the breakfast at the hangout provided an enjoyable experience with good food, service (friendly outside dining area), free street parking, and reasonable prices. The restaurant also gave me a third star for its excellent service. Thank you! Enjoy!
Breakfast was decent, with easy-to-eat eggs and bacon (good), plus the jack daniels bread pudding french toast (my favorite) which was simply amazing. The blt and eggs sandwich on top of my head was fantastic, and the biscuits and gravy were also average for me to have in one sitting. I would definitely recommend this breakfast.
