Despite having opened a new location in Torrance, this del Amo establishment is highly recommended. The food and service are always friendly and the interior is spacious. It's not uncommon to find them busy, especially on weekends or evenings. If you have dozens of people visiting, make sure to book in for their garlic bread appetizer thingy with the cheese. They also have an amazing brunch special featuring pasta and pizza combo.
On Tuesday morning, I made reservations for 11:30am and got seated early without waiting for my entire party. Unfortunately, the restaurant was empty due to recent renovations and poor sanitation. Our waitress was attentive and helped us with our table setting. The restrooms were unclean even though they were newly renovated and barely stocked in the stalls.
My wife and I have frequented the large outdoor patio with friends and family, and our meals were always delicious, including banana coffee cake, breakfast carbonara pasta (my favorite), and strozzapreti pasta with chicken and mushroom for my dinner. The service and cocktails are also satisfactory. We will definitely be back for happy hour. Please review the photos to see how it turned out.
After two meals here (last time served via shared apps), I was able to fill up my stomach with food. The burrata appetizer was excellent, with a slight kick. Our entrees included beef tenderloin marsala with fresh risotto and short rib with polenta. However, I enjoyed the beets on the side more than any other dish. It was an absolute pleasure to share.
The food and service at this restaurant always exceed my expectations, whether I'm hosting a small party or catching up on some work. My pizza was fantastic, with nice crunch and crispy crust and plenty of cheese. Would definitely recommend trying their pizzas over there!
Thank you to the manager, Miss Eden for providing exceptional customer service in a highly personalized and unforgettable manner. We will definitely revisit our locality in Torrance once again, thanks to their outstanding five-star treatment! Our team is truly grateful.
The opening of north italian restaurant in del amo mall was unexpected due to the lack of high-end Italian food and the dim lighting and lit candles around the tables. Despite being treated to a wonderful meal, we were disappointed by the subpar quality of the service provided.
Although I usually steer clear of chain restaurants, I have come to appreciate the unique and stylish atmosphere that exists in North Italy. The staff was attentive throughout our meal, including both classical music and modern dishes. We also enjoyed the truffle garlic bread with my wife after a long day at the restaurant where we shared cocktails on the balcony.
Thanks to North Italy for a fantastic meal and great service. The decor is charming and the staff is friendly. Perfect choice for couples or families on supper. See you soon. Thank you!
