As my boyfriend and I were reserving for drinks, we decided to go to Salt Creek Grille instead of the regular restaurant. Our waitstaff at the lobby bar was extremely helpful and friendly; we only ordered drinks and desert, while my partner enjoyed hot dogs and old-fashioned sandwiches. We also tried the molten carrot cake with cream cheese ice cream. What can you say about the experience? It's a total disappointment!

The Ritz Carlton management knew that the hotel had been fully booked for several months, and they were aware that there would be a large number of attendees at the bar. However, the kitchen on the third floor of the building was not open to guests who had already waited over an hour for their meal.

The hotel should inform its guests about the designated smoking area, even though I have no issue with those who smoke. However, the food and drink offerings were excellent, but we were left unattended due to the background smoke from the cigars!! What an unpleasant experience!

Stylish and affordable cocktails at the Ritz in Dana Point are well-matched with the attentive service of the cocktail waiter, who also provided comfortable lounge furniture to cool off guests and enjoy the sound of good music.

Despite our stay at the stunning hotel, we were met with disappointing bar service and other guests complaining about under-service. Our meal was mostly seafood from the restaurant's menu, while we tried to order more steakhouse food on the Ritz premises due to lack of bar services and room service requests.

Their Truffle fries are simply amazing!! The refreshing and light Yuzu Fresh cocktail is served with complimentary chili lime peanuts, as well as stunning sunset views. Don't miss out too!

I had a great time here after playing in the sand and sitting at the bar. The sunset view from the top of the beach and the ocean is breathtaking. I went for Stella truffle fries, which were delicious. Each side provided savory truffles with garlic and shredded cheese. It was like eating chocolate with truffle oil.

The Ritz-Carlton's Bar is a stunning location, with two sections: the indoor (passing through the lobby) and an outdoor area (taking if not rain) that offer breathtaking views and delicious cocktails. We particularly enjoyed our day-trip to the bar and the fire pits in the evening.
