We had a great time at the Shwack, thanks to the amazing staff and their friendly attitude towards families. The bacon burger and BBQ chicken salad were incredibly filling with my little nephews getting messy with their toys, but we ended up getting them one for ourselves!

It was great to have such good ribs for the price. The staff was friendly and there was a relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this place!

With its local beach vibe and outdoor seating options, The Shwack offers a diverse selection of breakfast faires, chicken-veggie, AHI-tahi, and Turkish burger sandwiches. The food service is friendly and attentive, including onsite waitstaff who serve my mediocre fried chicken with fries or side. I would definitely recommend this eatery.

Following my afternoon out to the beach, I found it spotless after a friend of mine recommended another diner's favorite fish tacos (they were on Shwack for an extended period, so I went with the normal way) and they are fantastic. The burger and potato wedges aren't particularly impressive either, but overall, they pay nicely for the great taste of the creamy sauce that pairs them perfectly with both.

My experience with the fish tacos was disappointing, not to my liking. They weren't as tasty and had a soggy texture that defied the reviews on this website. The fish was bland, but kids enjoyed it.

The Big Al burger, stuffed with grilled onion and jalapeos, was perfect! My wife loved the sliders while my kids absolutely loved their little grom piggies. This place is spot on! Outstanding cold bear, delicious food, and friendly staff!

The cook was attentive to my lunch needs, and even provided me with an omelette to share with my wife. Unfortunately the fries and burgers were too large, but overall I enjoyed the meal immensely. The place is spotless, yet so is the kitchen, especially considering the cleanliness of the room and the excellent food.

We love hanging out at Dana Point, where we can enjoy a selection of delicious and fresh food. Our family visits every month during the summer and our dining options are extensive with freshly made meals and refreshing drinks. The atmosphere is laid-back, with art on the walls, surf shack decor, games on TV, and quick exit lines in typical San Francisco restaurants.

Despite having an excellent BBQ chicken sandwich, their fries are terrible and they replaced the usual salad with smoked oreos for added flavor. The food is far from satisfactory.
