Every time I dine here, I always end up with something new to try, like the salmon bowl. I was surprised to see how many people were there for our late date night out at 1130pm. We went in expecting a cajun blackened chicken and shrimp, but my boyfriend had the salmao grelhado and both were delicious! The other thing is that the mines had roasted peppers instead of onions, which tasted great!
It's a restaurant we still frequent and probably about 3-4 times every month. The servers, unlike Eddie or Nestor, are only available during evening hours, but the service is above-average; my personal experience indicates that their cooked vegetables may become unfit for serving due to their age and burning condition. This is not something you can afford to sacrifice.
Our meal was fantastic, with great food and drinks served by Eddie. The waiter was able to keep his composure during the rush of customers and provided excellent service. Unfortunately, their manager was confrontational while Giovan's presence in front of a large restaurant left us feeling upset.
Despite having ordered the wrong food, I was surprised by the quality of the brazilian cuisine. Their chicken bowl (lunch special) was enough to fill me up even after being served earlier. The rest of my party chose their summer beet salad and quinoa chicken salad, which were more like noodles than regular ones. We also enjoyed their yucca fries and crispy plantains, while their homemade soup was commendable. It was definitely worth trying!
After being impressed by the brand, I decided to give it a try. The store has ten parking spaces and is conveniently located near rescheduling. We were served food and drinks upon entering, while the dining area offers sandwiches and appetizers that we appreciated. My sister enjoyed the chicken hot grill meal, which she had ordered with me and promised us, but it wasn't too busy.
The restaurant has had me down pat, having been there twice before, once for a meal outing during the summer when the temperature was at its highest and again for pick-up. Although I appreciated the service and food, I regret being charged almost $1 for something that tasted good, so it's not worth my time.
Despite being aware of the potential for success on my next trip, I was disappointed by the lackluster food served at Bossa nova. The dessert is not soft or fluffy, and the back dining area is too small and uncomfortable with its high tables and chairs. It was uncomfortable even for my friend and myself who were sitting next to the wall.
