Reviews
The new patio area in the front is always filled up quickly, making it a favorite spot for lunch. I enjoyed some delicious and bright red gumbo, but I was hesitant to try anything else. The green sauce was excellent and spread across my entrees. Additionally, there were crunchy tacos and fried onions on this plate, which both had contrasting flavors. These dishes were tasty and flavorful.
Our weekend spent at this adorable little spot on DTLB, we were treated to outstanding brunch and amazing service. The staff was friendly and helpful, the food was delicious, our drinks varied, and the prices were reasonable for what we paid. We had a great time!
Another visit to Lava's has been a pleasure, as they serve delicious food and exceptional service. I would highly recommend this Mexican restaurant for weekend or weekday meals when my furry friends are out and about.
While visiting with a friend at night, I was impressed by the attentive service and mexican street corn plate that they served. The overall experience was perfect, including the decor, food, and overall service. My friend and I had savored every dish on our table.
The food and service at this restaurant are outstanding, with every drink, main course, and waitress being the perfect match. Forest's exceptional waiter made our date a memorable one, making it even more unforgettable.
Our pick up from lola's was arranged in a timely manner with excellent service. We were served vegan tacos and birria tactos, which were our favorite because they had the best marinade and meat on the whole menu. The sauces were also very nice, and chips were available for dessert.
My experience at this small restaurant turned out to be nothing short of amazing. The food on the menu was delicious, and my server was understanding and helpful. I recently had a huge craving for their house specials, including the birria tacos. They were even more appetizing than the chips and salsa available anywhere else, but they didn' just not live up to my expectations.
Despite the lack of parking, they were still served quickly and had drinks ordered at a reasonable price. The food was delicious, with chips and salsa available as well. I also enjoyed their butternut squash enchiladas, which were filled with cheese and served on griddled potatoes. Overall, the meal was very good.
Visiting lola's after living in Mexico for 8 years and moving to Iowa has been like the ultimate experience. The food staff is welcoming, the people are knowledgeable, and the food is delectable. We couldn't have asked for more! Thank goodness! And it was a perfect Halloween dinner! What an amazing evening!
I'm a big fan of enchiladas and especially their butternut squash cream burgers. The food at this spot is simply amazing, with chips and salsa, the secret sauce (made from scratch on the outside) and Italian parsley serving it perfectly. My meal here was perfect!
