During our second visit to tequila jack's, we had an early lunch and waited for the opening of the coastal county jam gates. My wife enjoyed their chicken nachos which were too spicy for my liking, while I loved my chicken quesadilla. We always enjoy being in town and taking in the views, especially the Queen Mary out back.
Upon arriving in town, I found myself hungry and ended up ordering from their lunch menu. I chose the chorizo con huevos and was pleased with the spicyness of the salsa (which had a burnt smell to it). However though there were still some rice pieces that needed improvement, my meal was not worth returning. The overall experience was satisfactory but disappointing.
The country concert was a great opportunity to get some food. My friend and I both had the cajon shrimp, but they were too hard and chewy for our taste buds. The customer service was also very bad, with no options available such as sweet potato fries or zucchini fries. Would anyone recommend trying this?
I was served a bland, unseasoned food at no more than 1:50. My choice between the combo plate of fried tacos and chili peppers with chiles on it tasted worse than the beef jerky or hotdog. The service also proved to be poor; we had to wait in line for 40 minutes before being brought out cold after finishing our meal! What resentments do they have when visiting family?
