This establishment is a favorite spot for spending time with friends and enjoying music, art, food, and drinks. The proprietor/manager recognized me and my friend's birthday party and gave us ten tables to share. We also enjoyed the costume competition on Halloween weekend while sitting in front of the TV during one of our dinners.

Vibe

For years, we have been going to District, a lively bar with upscale clubcharakter (but not the loud screaming that usually surrounds us). The food served here is simply amazing, with top-notch oyster ($1.75), beef slider ($350), and chicken tender slider(pictured) being my personal favorite. However, their drinks list is somewhat restricted; alternative options may vary due to high prices and complaints from some customers. Additionally, there are several liquor stores in each district that offer premium spirits or soft drinks.

Vibe

Located in a historic building in downtown oakland, the district serves artisanal food and offers burgers with seasoned b&b pickles and grilled meat. The lunch was spot-on because it had an amazing combination of delicious sandwiches, house-made dipping sauces, and musical playlists. I also enjoyed trying out the "distant guzzler" from the local restaurant while visiting this historic structure.

Value

The food served here is a perfect combination of flavor and texture. I couldn't be happier with the crispy spiced chicken wings, delicious tamarind sauce, fresh oysters, ceviche mixto, deviled eggs, and friendly happy hour staff. The restaurant is also known for its impeccable service and beautiful artwork on the walls throughout the day. Overall, my meal was exceptional. My family would definitely recommend this place.

Service

Happy hour arrived, but the service was disappointing. The first thing I noticed was the delectable fries, which were perfectly seasoned and served with sweet ketchup and garlic aioli. However, I thought the peach bellini would be too basic for my taste preference, while it went well with peachi juice and sparkling wine. This was my second time coming to eat here and I highly recommend it.

As someone who has lived in DC before, I was taken aback by the chain. The bartender refused to allow guests into the building and requested IDs during brunch; the service was unsatisfactory, and the food options were limited due to rain. My lunch included an order for chicken sausage and mayonnaise soup, while my meal ended up being out of stock.

The wine and craft beer scene in district oakland is renowned for its exceptional cuisine, but I couldn't resist the succulent burger, perfectly balanced between artisanal cheeses, red wine onion jam, and truffle fries with parmesan aioli. It's ideally situated for enjoying ice-cream on your way to New York, or relaxing by the poolside.

I chose to sample some exceptional whiskeys from this establishment, which is a great option for those seeking affordable and unique options. I tried the Hancock, Elmer, Lee Miller, and Thompson handy at RPRP $125. The experience was enjoyable but disappointingly unappealing due to the slightly loud music (but enjoyable nonetheless).
