My meal overall was excellent, with generous portions despite the portion sizes being served promptly and fresh. However, my only criticism was that I was instructed to order beer from the bar instead of water at 1 pm when there was no problem.

When did the first buckhorn grill open in 1999, and how did it reach its current location in California? I had my first time with them and couldn't remember much but was impressed by their sandwiches. Would anyone still enjoy eating from there?

It's been a few months since I last visited this place because it was too much for me. We booked it in midtown and were disappointed with the crowds, so we decided to try Buckhorn instead. They were super clean and took our order within five minutes, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend them to others.

I couldn't have asked for a better meal at Buckhorn. I ordered the garlic mash, tri tip, bbq chicken, and veggies, but my food was just fantastic! I also had the perfectly cooked garlic butter mashed potatoes and vegetables from the oven on my second try. My boyfriend absolutely loved the mac and cheese sandwich with melted cheese sauce.

We frequently visited Buckhorn during kings games to enjoy the game and sip on beer. I prefer their grilled chicken with mashed potatoes or their pulled pork sandwich, but they vary in their availability depending on the season. If you can't make it to the stadium early, you'll have your meal in minutes.

I have heard that the buckhorn restaurant chain has a new outlet in Rocklin. The latter is an even newer location, and I've been to several of them before but none of these seem like my current favorites. This one has more space for me, plus it has bigger patios and outdoor dining areas. It's also gratifying to have something so much better at this location than the rest of the chain.

While I've enjoyed several visits to buckhorn eateries in the past, this one left me feeling completely satisfied with their service and food. The menu was packed with different types of their famous tri-tip, while my favorite was the roadhouse bud sandwich with crispy onion strings and bleu cheese served on the most delicious softened sandwich roll I had ever laid eyes on. My friends were also very pleased with how tasty their takeout is.

I brought the tri tip sandwiches with me on the plane, and my husband complimented them as the best prime rib sandwich he's ever had. I shared that I joined the loyalty club because of their love for the food, which included generous full-sized burnt ends. We would definitely visit again in southern California.
