The fisherman's decor and ocean views were both impressive, earning them a five-star rating. Additionally, the service was excellent. My wife and I didn't enjoy our fish tacos due to their lack of traditional white sauce. Although my wife found the chips crisp and not fermentable, I thought the salsa tasted like fermented vinegar. However, my son enjoyed his shrimp scampi. Furthermore, there was likewise good toasted savory bread.
We were taken aback by the beach front view and decided to order some seafood dishes from this restaurant. Our server was very friendly, and we shared calamari properties for our meal. The fish and chips were delicious, but the dipping sauce wasn't too much; they also served us complimentary sourdough bread that was perfect.
The food and people here are simply amazing! It's the ultimate spot in San Clemente, no matter what season it is. Plus, they have an absolutely perfect spot with a deck that looks out over the water (my friend'Sarah gave us thanks on our second visit on December 31).
The restaurant was a great spot for lunch with my family. It's situated right on the beach with sweeping views and has ample parking available within walking distance. The staff is welcoming and attentive, and the server, who was an avid football fan, spent countless hours discussing our favorite teams. I enjoyed the seafood salad and creamy clam Chowder.
The Fisherman's Restaurant was a pleasant surprise. I was initially nervous because it was located on the pier in crowded areas, but the hosts were gracious and accommodating. We were given enthralled views of the water and even found ourselves sitting next to them at our table. This was more than just servers serving our meal and an excellent bargain for food options.
Although we were impressed by the reviews, our decision was not justified as the restaurant is located near San Clemente Pier with a stunning ocean view. The food and service provided by their waiters were disappointingly slow for our likings, and it paled in comparison to other restaurants due to poor quality.
I can't get enough of these clams for $28. My child absolutely adores them, and the oysters came out perfectly fresh! Would have preferred some pickled onions but fresh oyster meat instead. Super tasty service too. We will definitely be back next time.
Our dining experience at this delightful location was outstanding, with a sea view and secluded surroundings. We were offered varying food options, including pâtés, hot dogs, and salads. The waiter/waitress we interacted with was attentive but not overly friendly, as we were barhopping. Although we didn't order anything else, our waitstaff was helpful and courteous throughout the entire evening.
We visited this place today with colleagues and after reviewing the Yelp reviews, I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent appetizers (coconut shrimp and oysters Rockefeller) and disappointingly bad service (clam chowder arrived at 8ishish plates; no bread). The entrees were also average, with poor quality (one order of chips is always recommended).
The view and food at this place are complemented by the ocean waves. I'm looking forward to trying their soft shell crab egg Benedict for brunch, which will be perfect with my bucket list of things to do on weekends. Thank you! Enjoy!
