We took my wife and daughters to Colibri last night for an early evening meal, celebrating Mother's Day. I was pleased to find a reservation that came right the first time. As usual, we had appetizers from their previous visit and decided to go with some more main dishes instead of traditional sides. We started our meals with complimentary guacamole (tacorice, medium or spicy), and ended with fried rice.

The chips, salsa, and guacamole served at Colibri are simply outstanding in Mexican cuisine. My sister enjoyed her meal with chili relleno, which was also delicious! Additionally, the decor is impressive, too. I would definitely order from here again. Yum! What a great combination!

We had a wonderful dinner here. It's not my first time visiting this place since Arguello, but the food and staff are just amazing. The thin chips were perfect for sharing, and the tostadas were better than I expected. Ben even got into eat ONE whole bowl of guac.
