Yesterday, I had the pleasure of trying cocktails at the Gambit Lounge for the first time. Among the happy patrons, we shared "Life Coach," which is a type of personal trainer, and also ordered ice cream with chips. I was also impressed by the Beet Tartar. It was delicious. The owner was very friendly and offered good food. This is an excellent spot in Hayes Valley, with two bars and multiple seating options. Not going to miss this one. Good choice because there are many vegetarian dishes available.

Newly opened in the former Noir Lounge, drinks are excellent (I chose a nice rich fernet and merlot plus Life Coach). Food is Eastern/Central European themed (pork pierogies with vinegar and crushed chile oil, mushrooms and sweet tartine) Pleasant place to be around staff and great company! Highly recommended! Enjoy some solid drink and snack options! *
