The food and service are excellent, the servers are knowledgeable about their craft, and the setting is pleasant.
At first, I was a bit surprised about my attire at Sol Agave. It seemed like it was for catching up with friends on sex, but the staff was friendly and knowledgeable about their dishes. We chose their classic guacamole, lobster, and carnitas option, which was one of the three favorites we ordered. Our waiter gave us their "famous carNitmas" cocktail, while we were told that it would be even more enjoyable if we tried other varieties.
After our late brunch at Mission San Juan Capistrano, we were seated for tacos de hongo and the sol agave skillet. The service was prompt as well, and we had great food options such as a margarita flight with chicken legs ($14 for each piece) on top of the wings. Our table was spot on!
Although I enjoy the place, Mexican cuisine often uses chicken tenders for their chicken. However, when ordering food from there, it's important to indicate that they are available.
Our lunch at this restaurant was spotless and our server was incredibly helpful. The location of the restaurant provided ample parking facilities, and we were able to book in without any prior notice. We had complimentary chips with salsa and hot refried beans that went perfectly along with the salsa! I could have eaten them all day but I couldn't resist having some chips on hand!
Despite my struggles with diary and gluten free foods, I highly recommend trying the Sol agave salad with shrimp. The salsa and beans are simply amazing, making this place one to watch again. Thank you for everything! Enjoy!
We visited this cafe de olla on a Tuesday and were disappointed as it charged an upcharge. The location was perfect for scrumptious date nights, with the appropriate decor and lighting. However, I gave it 0 stars due to pricing issues and found it unappealing despite my previous visits.
Despite its high rating, I'm not entirely sold on the quality of the service and atmosphere provided by this restaurant. However, it wouldn't be considered a bad choice if my friend recommended me for sashimi at such an affordable price like theirs.
I went here for a girls night and the bartender was very friendly. He helped me choose the best virgin cocktail, but the food was not particularly impressive overall. We had the Jumbo prawns, which were served with butter sauce, and it didn't taste good. The prices were also pricier, making them an unappetizing experience.
The first time we visited, our son and I opted for the incredible celebration at the Resturant Sol Agave. The venue had ample parking available and we were seated together without any hassle. Alfonso was very welcoming and helpful during the reservation process. We arrived promptly with great food and music to enjoy. It was a wonderful experience!
