The historic restaurant is a must-visit destination for any celebration, with an unforgettable atmosphere and impeccable service. Our meal was excellent, and the vegan options were plentiful. Although I wouldn't recommend anything else, we had our choice of cauliflower and fried tofu (recipes that were more flavorful), it was disappointing because it tasted awful and there was ice cream available without question.
I was eagerly anticipating my trip to L.A. in May of 2023 and found Formosa Cafe, renowned for its nostalgic Chinese cuisine and nostalgia-infused decor, to dine at the late hour on Santa Monica Boulevard. Our stay was perfect because it was an excellent way to start our vacation with an A+ grade and five stars per night. The paid parking lot behind the restaurant is also highly rated.
