We have never had a meal in Bakersfield that has as many Teppanyaki options as we do, and it's important to make arrangements for dinner reservations ahead of time. This is especially helpful because my wife needs to avoid gluten-free meals due to her celiac lifestyle.
Excellent food, friendly staff, nice atmosphere, refreshing cocktail cocktails, reservations available, ample parking facilities. Would definitely recommend this place. Thank you. (50/50)
Despite the food and service, my meal was decent but not satisfactory due to lack of salivation or finishing touches. The overall experience was unpleasant. I would definitely recommend this place.
While I appreciated the service and scallops, I felt that the food was not cooked to perfection with a final squeeze of lime. However, it was disappointing in terms of flavor since we had requested additional sauces for our teppanyaki. The server and chef were both outstanding! The restaurant looked like an old school gym but exceeded expectations when they finally opened their doors this evening.
My son's birthday dinner was supposed to be held here, but I decided to try something different. The grill was booked until 9 pm, and we didn't have a table in the dining hall; instead, I ordered steamed rice and veggie-fried rice (which turned out okay) when my server couldn'T accommodate our order. However though, she brought us sushi for two people and left some rolls for later enjoyment.
We had a fantastic meal, the food was delicious, and the bartender was very welcoming. The hostesses were not particularly friendly, including one woman who looked like she was in an old Tupac music video. If only we had asked her to bring bibimbap instead of waving it around outside, would that have been acceptable?
A gathering of 3 adults, a 4-year-old, and infant was scheduled for today. The hosts gave us swiveling chairs to sit on during the party, which was unsecure. Our waitstaff provided us with ample time, but our drinks were taken incorrectly and refills arrived unsettled. Ripped over had another drink while we ordered appetizers; the waiter left quickly after serving food, appearing busy and not very friendly.
The dinner was a delightful gathering, with the cook being funny and accommodating. The food was fantastic, including plenty of leftovers, and the sushi served was top-notch! Bravo!
It has been my frequent dining choice, but for lunch, the service was exceptional and we were seated down to eat our meal right away. The chef's skills were impeccable, and the steak I ordered was perfectly cooked and fried rice had buttery flavor. This is by far the best teppanyaki place in town.
I and my friend went out for dinner on Saturday, but we didn't make a reservation. We were still in the same place after being asked for it. The tepenyakki was definitely worth trying, and the baked mussles and weaver dream roll were excellent although the sushi wasn'T so expensive ($10-15). The setting is beautiful despite the decor andambiance,
