Visiting sojuya for dinner on a weekday was an absolute pleasure, as three jinro frogs greet you upon arrival and the front room is brightly lit and decorated with modern Korean/japanese decor. The bar and charcoal grill are not available, but my group of two prefer to remain in the second room rather than the more traditional western-style bar.
Excellent location, excellent service, and superb food - this is the ultimate chillout spot. Highly recommended.
It's amazing how the kimchi stew tastes just like it was made by Ajumma and perfectly matches the videos of kpop and other Japanese TV shows. The service is top-notch, with push notifications for appointments and quick assistance from staff. I also love the bathroom facilities. What are those types of dishes?
Although the interior of a traditional Korean pub with authentic Chinese cuisine is enjoyable, its food tends to be bland and uninteresting. The gochujang flavor dominates every dish served, making it difficult to appreciate everything else.
Upon arriving late, I was filled with people and the place is perfect for socializing. The food served here was mostly consumed by drinkers, but the staff was friendly and accommodating. It's not uncommon for Japanese cuisine to be so small, especially when it comes in large quantities.
The happy hour menu was great for a first time, with so many options available at an affordable price. I also had fun at my mom's night out and found the service to be okay although the music and dark music may make it challenging during friends evenings; however, not recommended because of the noise levels. Highly recommended!
My go-to dish is the okonomiyaki half and half, which always comes out strong with its seafood or meat options. We also enjoy popcorn chicken, tater tots, sizzling cheese donkatsu, and yakitori (limited hours, 6-10pm), as well as special deals on the backside of the menu that includes cash buttons and free popcorn. I can't get enough when I order this food!
The atmosphere and food are perfect. We went there for a date and relished every dish available. The service was outstanding and the vibe was pleasant. I'll definitely come back to this place. Thanks!
The location is perfect for those who enjoy k-pop music and Korean cuisine, as it serves late lunchtime meals like curry kichi chicken. I'm not sure whether the food was inspired by Japanese dishes or an authentic Korean style curry, but overall I enjoyed it immensely.
