Despite sitting inside, the outdoor garden's water features are truly breathtaking. The waitstaff was helpful and knowledgeable about menu items such as free apple fritters, torta club sandwiches, and ranch-style mayonnaise. I found it particularly disappointing that they only offer this type of condiment instead of regular mayo.
As previously stated, Shenandoah is a delightful and peaceful sit-down restaurant with countless trees, vines, and flowers. You can enjoy lunch there without feeling like it's too small or overcrowded, but be sure to arrive early as parking is difficult and street parking nearby.
A hidden gem is situated on a busy street in the middle of Katella blvd, just blocks away from public transportation. The interior looks like upscale private residences, but it's actually quite impressive. When you step inside, it feels like your own home, perfect for entertaining.
The food and service at this establishment are outstanding, with every dish being delectable, including the fries. The staff is always available to answer questions about what's on the menu and ensure a satisfying lunch. Our day was delightful, complete with barbecue in the backyard and the feel of home. I'd highly recommend coming here for brunch.
For years, I've been craving the scrumptious and authentic cuisine at Shenandoah. Insider recommendations include chicken fried steak, fritters, dinner rolls, and salad with their signature dressings. Thanks for everything!
The location of this place has been a regular stop for me for years, and I was glad to find it. It has an outdoor patio that everyone loves, as well as spacious tables inside. We've returned there several times now; the food served is excellent -- the menu is extensive, but not overly spicy (they use chicken from the chain). Additionally, they serve meat-based dishes more often than not on our meals.
The shenandoah restaurant is a favorite among our family, and we love being out in the garden while enjoying the fish streams and lights above. We loved eating everything from soup to salads and getting my fill of apple fritters, which was delicious! Unfortunately, parking is difficult to find due to the many lots off the alleyway behind the restaurant.
This place is always so inviting and our luncheon was a perfect match, with servers who are friendly and the food outstanding. The prices are not cheap, but it's great for special occasions, and they have oversized trees and gazebos, as well as onsite pools and gardens. We also love their outdoor area where people can relax in hammock chairs or sun beds.
The restaurant is lovely, with delicious food and a cozy atmosphere for catching up on friends. The staff is always helpful and friendly.
We had the pleasure of dining outdoors under a massive tree at this stunning location. The store and garden were filled with interesting displays, and the food served was excellent (although it was salty). Other people enjoyed lunch with the Texas trio, which appeared to be delicious, while I shared some photos of my favorite dish from our trip. Additionally, we ordered crab cakes for dessert and both kids chose sides of chicken breast as appetizers.
