Our first time at this restaurant was a memorable one, with exceptional hospitality, excellent food, and incredibly welcoming staff. We were treated to scrumptious dishes, including scallops, cocktails, pork chops from the grill (my favorites), and even pork belly for dessert.
We had a great meal when we arrived in the long beach area, and the menu was very tempting. We ordered there early because it's usually busy, but our stay was worth it. Our meals were delicious, with perfect proteins, tender proteins (our favorite), and incredibly tasty salad from the grill that I prepared for us. It wasn't disappointing that we didn' not have reservations beforehand.
The atmosphere of the home/bar was lovely, and the food was surprisingly good. I would highly recommend mushroom croquettes and ceviche for lunch. The drinks were excellent as they were very tasty without being too overwhelming.
It was a great experience. The food and service were outstanding. I arrived with my best friend and decided on one of their bigger dishes, which included carne (veal), platanos fritos, fried egg only, avocado pureed to perfection; the bartender was always so kind and helped us unwind by our side. We couldn't have asked for more delicious meals.
A fantastic seafood restaurant located on a busy street in Long Beach. Serving up delicious food and cocktails with friendly service. I arrived early for brunch and found the vibe to be very relaxed, especially since it's not overcrowded. We had the seltzer sandwich, copious amounts of hotdog or chicken patties, and some house oysters and mint sandwiches.
We arrived at this spot without any prior reservations as my husband and I were not sure where to go for dinner. The food was deceptively simple and the staff was attentive, including servers who knew our meal would be special. My husband couldn't resist trying the hot salted chicken that came with the burger sandwich, and we also enjoyed some homemade stir-fries in the microwave.
I was disappointed with the food and overall experience, particularly the ceviche and gin drink. The steaks were also disappointing as they came out of the oven rather than serving it properly. My steak was supposed to be medium, but unfortunately, they made it worse. Meanwhile, my dad's decision to order seared tuna instead of fresh ribeye left me disappointed.
Seeking to add some unique flavor to our brunch experience, selva was the perfect choice. The food served here is exceptional and everyone will be pleasantly surprised! Additionally, scallops are an essential for enjoyment. Our order of three appetizers earned us a score of 10/10.
