Although I should have checked the reviews before coming to this place, it was disappointing as the drinks were not very good and patrons in the hotel lounge often occupied their seats even after opening day. The overall experience was that of a modern retirement community, and the staff was pleasant as well.
Monkey Bar was a frequent stop for us during our Tiki Oasis stay, as we take over the entire hotel's space. They were very busy throughout the five days and provided delicious food and drink deals during happy hour; it also offers great value for money at resort prices.
The hotel's bar is a beautiful venue with upscale decor and an inviting lobby, offering happy hour and complimentary parking. Parking is available in the hotel garage (charges apply after completing validation), but the outdoor seating is plentiful and decorated with glass fireplaces near the pool plaza; the indoor area boasts modern furniture and can also be used as refectors for large conference rooms that cater to business guests.
With live music and an indoor outdoor patio, this spot is a fun experience. The food and drink offerings are plentiful, and the staff is very friendly. They also offer excellent service.
The venue is a great spot for enjoying live music, exceptional servers, and an affordable wine ($12) during happy hour. Although their dog happy hours are limited, the location itself is fantastic and they prioritize customer satisfaction. The downside of this is the expensive drinks and food menu at many conference venues.
Our visit to this place after attending a film festival left us with drinks and snacks, but unfortunately, the kitchen doors were closed for lunch and dinner. The menu was not offering any food items, so we ended up ordering cocktails instead of other options. My friend's waitress had recommended it, which made me feel like I needed some help before returning to our table.
