The restaurant offers a wide-ranging panoramic view of the Pacific Coast Highway from Capistrano Beach to Catalina island. It has been serving popular dishes for years, including those of former US presidents and families. The decor is colorful and decorated with dias de los Martes themes. Visitors can enjoy margarita cocktails served at the full bar, which includes an organic tequila hibiscus.

We had a terrible meal here, but we were in need of tamales. They are not typical Mexican dishes and the shrimp enchilada is nothing but dry and chewy. The tortilla was too rough, and they didn't even have enough masa to wrap it perfectly.

My elderly mother, who is disabled, and I went to San Clemente for shopping. We visited Olamendi's, a restaurant our family has been frequenting for over two decades. Claudia informed us that we would be charged if we shared the cost of eating together but we were told to order separate plates. However, we still had to use one plate instead.

I didn't find the food enjoyable, and the ambiance was unusual. The staff did not seem to be very welcoming during our visit, even though we were limited to two tables due to Nixon's popularity. Additionally, the restaurant isn'T as bad as it should have been.

Despite the poor quality of service, the salsa and chips were disappointing. I went for the chicken quesadillo, which was okay but not very good considering its price tag from a taco shop that was half the cost.

The small-scale service and decor at this restaurant are unappealing, while the cost of the second basket of chips is often exorbitant. I'm not impressed with the overall experience. My husband didn't arrive for our meal before we were asked to refill the other tables -- there must have been some miscommunication with my waitress - but she was right.

They didn't care much about the food, especially the enchilada sauce that was similar to spaghetti sauce. The lack of party-friendly amenities and staff made it difficult to manage the bill with their technology. Their service is also disappointing.

Olamendis has been our second visit, and we were pleasantly surprised with the friendly atmosphere. The staff was helpful and the food was delicious. We plan to return next time when we arrive in town.

It was okay with the Mexican service and overall experience, but our food was mediocre in about half an hour. The location and ambiance are excellent, and the view from the top is spotless.

Upon arriving at our hotel, we were pleased with the lively atmosphere and the good quality of the margaritas. The food and service were also tasty, and my son enjoyed a large serving of chips. I particularly like the spicy salsa and big plates; they were situated right next to our room and not too far from where everyone else was busy until after 6 pm!
