We had a great experience at this restaurant. The service and food were excellent, and the Brie was delicious with cloves and tomatoes. Although the meatballs were quite large, we didn't notice any lumps or chips in the middle of them. Our grilled cheese sandwich was tasty and satisfying, as well.
Excellent cuisine, a friendly atmosphere, and an enjoyable dining experience. The chicken burger was the most delicious we've ever eaten, along with the best wine and beer on tap. Matt is incredibly welcoming and the staff is also genuinely friendly.
Despite not having reservations, this restaurant in downtown San Clemente is perfect for us. The food and service are top-notch, and the salad portions are enormous. We also appreciate the attentive service and attentive staff when we dined there (it's almost too late to have leftovers, especially since it'll be right outside our room).
Despite the low price, it was still warm and pleasant. The shepherd's pie served as a delightful dessert to share with the flight. Our waiter was helpful and offered some tasty drinks for us to enjoy.
I have a strong liking for this place and especially appreciate the pork chop. If you ever hear of my "norm bar"/restaurant, please inform me about it.
Despite the availability of free parking on Sunday, our server was kind and sorry for the lengthy wait. Our California Skillet meal (4/10) was disappointingly greasy overall and the potatoes were heavily salted. The food was not well-prepared given my initial impression that it would have been better if they had more servers than I had.
The food and service were excellent, but the menu was varied. The seats were crowded; I would definitely come back. Recommendation.
Considering the exceptional service, menu and atmosphere of this place, I cannot wait to try their fried bologna sandwich. Bravo!
I recently visited for a date and couldn't be happier with the place! The decor was cozy, and the bar setup felt like it belongs in secluded wood cabin style. The service was friendly as well, especially the wedge salad (which is similar to sliced lettuce but with dressing and bacon and tomatoes) which I could easily order two people.
It's worth checking out this little gem located in a small shopping center filled with adorable local businesses. I loved coming here every day, feeling so welcome and like being treated to nourishing food from kitty litter to the size of piglets. Every dish was delicious, too! From perfectly handcrafted salad dressings made fresh right away to beautifully salted cornbread muffins, everything about homemade comfort fell into the nest.
