I ordered the calamari steak and ceviche at this restaurant, which was perfect for our beach-side dining experience. We wanted to make sure we were not eating too far as it had a lovely view of the water. Our server requested more plates with larger portions and asked for more ingredients like lime and added salt and pepper. Meanwhile, we had some crab salad, but they didn't have enough on hand due to the crab being served overhanging over the grill.

I always choose The Cliff Restaurant for exceptional cuisine and service, with the added bonus of breathtaking views. Whenever I visit California, I stay in Idaho twice and frequently visit this place.
Upon entering the restaurant, we were placed on the wait list and arrived within 20 minutes of our anticipated arrival time. The service was excellent, with us being granted permission to turn on their heater and staff accommodating our brief stay; the view outstanding; and the table was perfect for sunbathing! My husband bought this Cliff Hoody for under $40 and I love it! As my daughter shared the cheese and Charcuterie platter, which was amazing!
It was a disappointment as the table was unclean and the water cups had stuff on top. The southwest chicken salad we ordered was not very good, with an overpowering seasoning that tasted like microwave chicken. We also found the portions to be small and disappointing because it didn't match the portion size.
I enjoyed the food overall, mostly enjoying the view of the beach and sitting down for drinks. Unfortunately, the appetizer was a bit too firm and took ages to come together. The food was not well-prepared and cold, while the fruit was enjoyable. Overall, it was satisfactory all else.
Absolutely amazing! I had the chile rellenos and pina fresca margarita. They were served right away with glasses dry on them. The atmosphere, view, and service are top-notch. It's worth the wait to try their fish and chips. Worth the long wait. This place is spotless.
The manager, Kathleen Davis was a fantastic host during our business trip to the city and exceeded my expectations. We highly recommend this establishment due to its excellent food, vibes, and energy.
The place is fantastic, with a lovely atmosphere and vistas. There's usually reserving stools for drinks, but it'll be worth it. Additionally, there'd be plenty of cute shops to keep you occupied. I would highly recommend trying the Superfruit Margarita, which has great flavor and texture without being overdone. The food and service are also outstanding. My pick was the shrimp cocktail (which had HUGE chunks of fruit and extra ingredients). It didn't even take long to arrive because it was so good!
Despite the fact that Easter morning may have been better, the food and service still provided an excellent experience. My wife's family and I always enjoy this little gem of a breakfast spot. The breakfast burrito and the bacon bacon (left) were delicious! Highly recommended. Happy travels...
