The sushi bar in town is always packed, so I went early this time and had the best sushi experience. Although I'll admit it was salmon belly, all the food was delicious.

Everything was perfect, including the fresh fish and mouth-watering flavors. I loved the Toro nigiri; it literally melts in my mouth! Bonus points for those who love garlic and salmon and recommend the Susie roll too.

After reading all the reviews, it seems like a promising place to be. We decided to try it out and ended up sitting in our room at 7pm. The parking was unsatisfactory and there were no chef specials on the menu- Toro, blue fin tuna (my favorite), and yellow tail cheek ($14.99 USD), but not bad considering the prices are expensive).

Without even giving it a 5 star rating, this sushi spot is undoubtedly the best in town! It's amazing how fresh it is, and the portions are sizable and filling. Highly recommended.

Vibe

We have been coming to this place for four years, and even moved to Carlsbad. Despite the waitress being extremely rude, we were disappointed with the service provided. Our sushi was not good, but it took 40 minutes to serve, while our roommate left us with free chips after two passes.

Just as I am typing this, the sushi is absolutely divine and fresh - even better than most sushi I've ever had. Every bite is mouth-watering and it tastes amazing!

Vibe

The food was deceptive and my companions' rolls were mediocre. They went for the Koba, San Clemente, and Royal King Crunchy rolls, but I didn't like the royal fish roll and they had an unappetizing waitress serving it. Regular shrimp was more appealing, while regular noodles provided suppleness.

We arrived at this place on Sunday for a group of 4 with friends and I was impressed by the freshness of the San Clemente roll, cucumber shashimi roll (my friend's favorite), and avocado hand rolls (the seaweed wrap was iffy) as well as the excellent service. Overall, it should be on my list of recommended sushi spots. My friend and me have visited many places in the area, but their food is always so good.

Upon entering this unremarkable strip mall, one is reminded to look elsewhere for its exceptional sushi restaurant. Everything was perfectly fresh, beautiful, and artistic in every aspect. I'm overjoyed. This place is truly amazing!
