The restaurant was not very good, but the food and service were decent. I would have preferred more truffle gnocchi instead of the occasional truffle flavor. However, overall my experience with the carbonara and paccheri norma was satisfactory. The lemon cake and tiramisu were equally tasty.

Menu

Located in the heart of University Heights, Al Dente offers a great selection of modern Italian cuisine. The food served here is excellent, with pasta that comes out every time with ease and sauces that are both creamy and flavorful. I particularly enjoyed the duck patta (left) which was tender but perfectly cooked, followed by pappardelle with Parmesan cheese and fettuccine to taste.
