It was a great experience for me to come back here. The pizza and wings were delicious, while the fried ravioli and stuffed mushrooms made me feel fuller than when I first visited.
The worst customer service experience. We were limited to three tables and the server forgot to bring all necessary food items, silverware or pennies, and was completely unresponsive to our requests. The salads were good but not very good, as expected. Everyone enjoyed their pizza; there are plenty of outdoor tables for sunbathed guests with great company around the pool area.
Despite our reservations, we ended up ordering two pizzas instead of the other two. The waitstaff at this place was unnerving and gave us goosebumps! Plus, they had a baby ship option that cost $52 plus change for dinner--and I'm pretty sure it wasn't over even with Dylan as the bartender.
The thickness and texture of my thin crust cheese pizza were blatantly too soft to cook with pictures. It would be great if your chefs could be more consistent! I think having a margarita made it even better sounds delicious!
Despite their business name being Chicago Pizzeria, they are clearly lacking in authentic deep dish pizza. Their motto, "we'll save you a trip to Chicago!" makes it difficult to believe that this place is truly as good as their reputation suggests. People who claim the pizza itself is excellent simply need to be taught what exactly constitutes essentially delicious food.
I enjoyed the food at this establishment. My husband opted for the "deep dish" and I went for thin crust, but he found his version a bit oily. The service was also satisfactory, although perhaps too expensive. It would have been more reasonable to charge the same price for preparing if you wanted 6 slice small thin- crust pizza for 17$, considering it was an individual pan size.
I have a peculiar obsession with pizza, and Selma's pizza is one of my top choices. Despite not being from Chicago, however, I still enjoy their delicious meals here. As I relocate to San Juan, though, it'll be improbable that I won't pass up on trying pizza there.
The deep dish pizza we ordered was delicious, resembling BJ'S or Uno’s stuffed pizza, rather like their other Chicago-style pizza. I wish there were more tomatoes on top, but it would have been better otherwise. We also had Extreme Spaghetti and meatballs, which were very tasty (although not overly tender). Wouldn't that have affected our experience in the future? Disclaimer:
On our afternoon cruise in San Juan Capistrano, we stopped by Selma's and were thrilled to find that their Chicago style pizza was fantastic. We also had boneless medium wings as an appetizer, which wasn't very tasty but still delicious. After eating some sausage and pepperoni on the way home; it was amazing! Considering its size, they should definitely recommend visiting Ladera Ranch and Rancho Santa Margarrala too.
My experience was exceptional when I ordered a deep dish sausage pizza and received excellent service and attention to detail from Jaedyn. The beer selection was also good, and the atmosphere was friendly as well.
