The Misfit has received five Star reviews, which is why they are considered the best restaurant. Those who haven't eaten at their previous establishment will appreciate this.
Our dining experience at the restaurant bar was fantastic, with exceptional service and a friendly bartender named Zack providing excellent scotch knowledge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there!
Despite the stormy weather, Misfits provided excellent service and food. Our meal was one of the most enjoyable on New Years Eve, and we were given a booth to sit in before the start of their menu. The restaurant is quite spacious and well-presented, with eatable dishes such as ceviche, shrimp tacos, vegetable salads or even chips. We also enjoyed cocktails with house wine and nacho soup.
We had the choice between crispy Brussels sprouts and crispy chicken wings at this restaurant. Despite their reputation for being unrefined, we also found ourselves in a "misfit" category due to our unique personalities. The food was delicious without any overthrow.
It's highly recommended to check out the bar if you can find a spot. We visited on Y for happy hour and it was definitely packed. The Smashburger for $7 off is worth trying at this location, considering our trip to NYC that day.
The Misfit family enjoyed an amazing brunch experience with friends, complete with delicious food and drinks. We couldn't have asked for more than five people to share our thoughts on the restaurant. Our meal was spotless and everything was provided in a huge basket. Plus, every dish was mouth-watering!
Despite having great service and food, the restaurant has decided to raise its tip time from 15/18/20 until 20/22/25. I'm disappointed that the manager is not so sure about this particular amount of tip; rather my complaint is about how they handle it.
I visited The Misfit on April 8, 2023, after watching a movie at the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica. The restaurant was busy during Happy Hour and had great music, but we had to share everything! We split our meal among two people for $15 (minus the drinks). They highly recommend this dish and recommend the mac & cheese ($15) because it is gluten-free and delicious.
Upon arriving at this spot, we were informed of their amazing happy hour offer, which included 50% off cocktails until 7pm, but we didn't feel like eating much because we wanted to share our plates. We split up into three groups, and while we wait for our food, they both had refreshing cocktails. The chicken wings and nik niqueks were tasty options, the rest of the group was more leisurely. However, neither of us seemed to have eaten much yet.
I went on a shopping trip to Santa Monica and ended up drinking some cocktails. Although we had planned to share bottled wine, they had Happy Hour every day until 7 and the small outdoor patio was packed inside. It was unexpected that there were so many people in attendance at 4:30 on Saturday. The crowd was definitely not typical but it was still very festive. And thank goodness for the friendly atmosphere.
