We were excited to try vegan Mexican food as it was our first time! The front host was very welcoming and accommodating, and the menu was packed with delicious fajitas and perfectly presented margarita pitcher. It also had a nice outdoor dining area for enjoying drinks after countless reservations! Enjoying this spot is definitely not my cup of tea!
Gracias Madre was my last review in Nov 2021, and I'm thrilled to revisit the location. Although we've been vegan for 24 years, our visit was marred by unappetizing food and expensive service. We returned because they had better food but more delicious and healthy options than our previous visits. Our waitress gave us a nice view of the live traditional Mexican music that set the mood for our stay.
Lunch for the weekend at this establishment was a light, crispy fried potato with salsa verde, avocado and cilantro. It also had perfectly balanced dipping sauces and generous serving of rolled corn tortillas filled with zucchini and potatoes. The food was served with brown rice and black beans and costs $213/5.
