Despite ordering from the La Casa Hotel's bottom floor dining area, which was not overcrowded and had a plastic picnic cover, our dinner did not taste much better. Our beet and apple salad was served hot and cold with homemade dressing, and we ordered mushrooms in the stew that came with it. We also enjoyed some tasty mushrooms and sprouts mixed with bread at one stop for good value.

Despite my usual lack of negative reviews, this time we had a terrible dining experience at the Red Lion for my father's 70th birthday. The menu and happy hour offer are deplorable, but so is their website. We also experienced subpar food with no good flavor or texture, and the restaurant was overly pricey due to poor service.

Menu

I'm really enjoying my new waitress Adrienne, who makes the sangria at this adorable spot on RAD (early morning and late afternoon), which is located in an old hotel with great location and delicious food. The tapas themselves are amazing, with the hamachi crudo being particularly tasty and the salty crunch topping it with arugula topping.

We couldn't have asked for a better meal, service, and atmosphere at Laguna. Our server was helpful and friendly, while we enjoyed the following dishes: Wedge Salad, Ahi Tuna Poke, Hamachi Crudo, Seafood Pasta, Red Wine (pictured), Apple Strudel, Tiramisu, etc. The food served here is simply amazing!

Despite having positive reviews in the past, the website menu is not as well-refined as it used to be. The rooftop menu seems like an experimentation fee for all dishes served until now. Although the calamari was okay and the poke was decent, there was a lack of flavor and depth. Drinks were also overpriced with ice cubes instead of wine or beer.

After reserving dining room at 6pm for my birthday on Friday night, we arrived to find that the restaurant menu was not available and only one rooftop lounge. The website doesn't mention this as it is similar to the downstairs restaurant's menu, and when the servers arrive at 7pm, they state it was their last call for kitchen and bar service.

Service

I went to this restaurant for the first time on Wednesday night. Although the signature cocktails (such as the Spanish Mojito and Amante) were excellent, the food portions for tapas were small and overpriced. We enjoyed the charred octopus but didn't have any special requests. The only thing that stood out was the lack of good-sized crab cakes in the paella dish.

Reaction to my reservation request was terrible. I called several times, but they had their mailboxes occupied. They also sent me an email, and received confirmation that they will contact me soon. No response yet.

Service

Despite being out of the area, I'll be back to Comedor for dinner when I can. Our third visit to the restaurant resulted in a more enjoyable dining experience with better portions, delicious flavors and overall flavor enhancements.

We were excited to try out The Comedor, as we loved Kya and had the opportunity to sample some tapas from their welcoming bartender. Our server was very friendly, making sure we enjoyed our meal with steak, shrimp, and charred octopus! Dessert was also delicious; we were too full and I almost gave up on dessert. My daughter expressed her fondness for the tiramisu but it definitely went one way.
