Chuy, a popular Japanese restaurant, gave my review 3.5 stars instead of 4.5 for its poor service and lack of attentiveness. We were disappointed with the waitress's behavior after dropping off our meal but were still able to order more food from the menu. The reviewer was surprised by how quickly she helped us refill our drinks during the busy wait in question.

Vibe

For years, I have been dining at kulture and its surrounding stores, but I never made it to cantina alley. I arrived at the restaurant expecting great food and excellent tacos, as well as an outstanding selection of tasty elote (the last one being soggy after my meal). My next visit, however, was not very enjoyable as the dipping sauce was also delicious.

Vibe

This is a must-visit spot in Sacramento for enjoying drinks, socializing with friends, and enjoying delicious food and drinks. The service staff is always on time, the food is excellent, my favorite tacos and hotdogs are every other dish I crave, plus there's an abundance of fantastic Mexican food options and cocktails to choose from.

I don't mind the fact that Instagram and Ticktown are promoting their products, but this place is actually quite good. The decor on this establishment is definitely impressive, especially since it gives off an authentic vibe. My personal opinion is that they serve excellent tacos de papa which are perfect! Additionally, they have great taste in general.

Menu

The food is not Americanized, and the chips and salsa are not included. If you want to dip some in, they will have pork rinds as well. Quesos are similar to Mexican taco sandwiches with flavorful bites and plenty of cilantro/onions/cojitas. We particularly enjoy the elotes, which are simple but very tasty. The crowd is quite large, including many people who share the bar scene.

Vibe

The atmosphere and food at this spot are truly unforgettable. My husband and I had a great time, and we couldn't be happier with the jamaica and shrimp cocktail that fell on the floor. Our server brought me some bottles of sparkling water and sand to clean it up after serving it. We also enjoyed chicharonnes, guac, ceviche, undone tip, plus tons of tostadas served throughout the day. Overall, they were fantastic!

Our waitress was prompt in answering our questions and explaining the food options during happy hour. We were brought to a party of 5 for lunch, and we were served tagliatelle with hot chocolate on each side after ordering multiple tacos and margaritas. The waiter was very helpful and explained what dishes were available throughout their meal, even providing us with different options to choose from.

Service

Upon entering on a sunday afternoon, we were met with some mist and misting, but the seating area was outdoor and noisy. The staff was unfriendly but not helpful, and the location was situated in the back where it could easily be reached without signaling too many times. We also had to ask for more help from waitstaff who were absent due to street parking being scarce.
