This sushi bar on 18th and J Street was the perfect choice for a lunchtime visit during happy hour. Our server and I were treated to delicious rolls and an abundance of garlic pepper fin, making it incredibly satisfying. We also had some great food there!
The review is rated at 4 stars and includes reviews of chicken wings, sushi rolls, and servers. Although the food was not particularly tasty, it had to be overpriced due to the wait times for our orders (I'm still ordering fast!). I also found the service tolerable as well.
When I arrived for lunch, the place was empty despite my initial visit at noon. I ordered the stuffed green onions and mushrooms from their menu after being told to sit down by the hostess or take a seat anywhere in between. However, it took ten minutes before someone finally handed me water and presented me with my food order.
After a scheduled appointment, I met up with my friend and we were welcomed into the venue. We were given secluded spots and each sip on our booth, which provided us with various options to enjoy our meal. The food was delicious, including several famous rolls such as mariah, diva, and olive, all of which had fresh and tasty names.
Despite ordering for pick up with my coworkers, I was disappointed by their poor customer service. The woman answering my questions and being patient helped us through the process. We ordered meals in bulk and requested that each order be boxed separately, but she wrapped them before we arrived at the pickup location where there was ample seating available after waiting for our meal.
I frequented this place while in Sac town and have been a regular customer since dropping off my first order. The service and quality were outstanding, and I highly recommend their poke salad, shiso bytes, or wedashii tartare. If you're ever in the area, make sure to check them out!
Despite being new to the area, this sushi spot is much larger and situated in the arden area. I've had the impression that both are excellent but the staff is not as attentive towards customers due to their small size. The waitress only showed interest in our luncheon by returning it three times while it was empty.
All the senses are being assaulted in a truly intense way. We arrived at 5:30, and we were met with uncomfortable seating arrangements where people face their own windows and some chairs are not even visible due to the absence of sound absorber technology. The dinner was deafening; both of us had to sit on the same side of the booth without hearing anything.
It's a hidden gem in Sacramento, with exceptional sushi and impeccable service. The staff is welcoming and helpful, and the roll rolls are simply outstanding. I would highly recommend this place!
The reviewers gave us great feedback on our new venue, which was described as a "gorgeous" place with clean and comfortable interiors. The music played without any issues, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was good. I also enjoyed trying the oyster roll (£13.99), the pizzazz with ham and chips, but it wasn't spicy or hard. We also ordered burgers and sides that were moreish than usual.
